What is the Open Data Maturity report 2022 and its policy dimension? What are the different national approaches that have been adopted in recent years to enhance this dimension?

On 29 September from 10.00 to 11.30 CET, the fourth webinar on the Open Data Maturity 2022 will take place. This webinar will focus on the policy dimension.

The first webinar in the series discussed the key trends and progress of ODM among European countries. The second webinar focused on the ‘quality’ dimension of the report, featuring Slovenia and Ukraine sharing their best practices on the respective dimension. The third webinar highlighted the national approaches from France and Poland towards the national data portals in place and how they enable people to easily find openly available datasets.

This fourth session aims to provide a more in-depth look at the Open Data Maturity report of 2022, by focusing on the policy dimension. This respective dimension considers the open data policies and strategies in place in the EU countries, the national governance models to manage open data and the measures applied to implement those policies and strategies. Countries are scored on the following three indicators: policy framework, governance of open data, and open data implementation.
