Register now for our upcoming webinar, ‘Open data for crisis response and resilience: cases from European & national institutions', taking place on Friday, 24 April 2026, from 10.00 to 11.00 CEST.

This webinar explores how open data strengthens Europe’s capacity to anticipate, respond to, and recover from crises. As natural hazards and health emergencies become more frequent and complex, timely and interoperable data is crucial for effective decision‑making, cross‑border coordination, and resilient public systems.

The session brings together EU‑ and national‑level perspectives. Auriane Denis Loupot (DG ECHO) will present the analytical services of the European Emergency Response Coordination Centre and explain how open data supports early warning and coordinated crisis response. Inès Bedar will then share practical insights from advising the French Prime Minister’s Services during the COVID‑19 pandemic, including the development of a national dashboard, hospital data monitoring, and collaboration with civil society.

The webinar will conclude with an interactive Q&A, giving participants the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with a calendar invite and webinar link. This session is part of the ‘Measuring the impact of open data’ course by the data.europa academy and will be recorded for future access.
