Register now for our upcoming webinar, ‘Smart cities and digital twin technology: the case of Bologna', taking place on Friday, 23 January 2026, from 10.00 to 11.00 CET.

As part of our smart cities webinar series, we are excited to present the third edition, spotlighting the Bologna Civic Digital Twin. We will be joined by Stefania Paolazzi from Comune di Bologna and Marco Pistore from Fondazione Bruno Kessler, who will discuss how Bologna’s Digital Twin is being used as a data governance infrastructure, supporting more informed, transparent, and collaborative public decision-making. Participants will gain insights into the key challenges and opportunities of urban digital twins, including how data, models, and AI systems are developed, governed, and made accessible to broader communities to strengthen governance processes. The session will conclude with a Q&A, offering you the chance to engage directly with the speakers.

After registering, you will receive an email with a calendar invite and webinar link. This webinar is part of the ‘Open data best practices and monitoring use cases’ course offered by the data.europa academy and will be recorded for future access.
